Salesforce integration

    Hi there,

Our business is looking for a form builder that can generate support tickets through Zendesk and update existing accounts through Salesforce.

I can see it is possible to set up a web to lead form with Salesforce integration, however, is it possible to update existing Salesforce records without the use of an external connection like Zapier? As we are looking to use this for account management we are hoping to minimise how many systems our data is passed through for more secure processing.

If possible would a demo be able to be sent through of this use-case?

Additionally, is it possible to embed the form into another webpage and pre-fill data based on external information, such as an account name/number?

    Looking forward to your response.

Hello Michael - You can use our Salesforce integration to achieve the said requirement. Here's a guide on How-to-Setup-Salesforce-Integration.

You can use this integration to:

    - Add new company leads

    - Add new contacts

    - Add new accounts

As for updating the existing records, we already added an option for deduplication:

Select "Update Existing Entry" in the Duplicate Check options to enable it.

Please note that it works by cross-checking the user's email with the existing record.

Also, I have moved your last question to a separate ticket so we could discuss it further. I will be responding to that via this link shortly: https://www.jotform.com/answers/2406378
