Asked on July 09, 2013 at 12:31 PM

Currently when the form is emailed through to me the PDF link on the email submission looks like this:

    Current Download Link

Is it possible for me to make it so this download comes from say our dedicated server that our website is hosted on?

So it would be something like this:

    http:www.mysite.co.uk/form.php?formID=31774745277364&sid=239195917846965095&mode=edit

If so how can I go about doing this?

Thanks for any help in advance

    Nathan

    Hi Nathan,

Please try using a custom domain. Check this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/144-How-to-use-Custom-Domains-with-Jotform.

Let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Thanks

Scratch that I tried to do what it says in that guide and I followed it word for word but when I go to my website link for example it would be like,

    "form.my-domain.com"

it just automatially redirects me to,

    "my-domain.com"

Anybody any ideas why it might do this? or possibly another way to do my first question?

Thanks for any help in advance

    Nathan

    EDIT:

Forgot to say but it also redirects me even when I go to,

    form.my-domain.com/form/formID

    Not sure why.

    Hi Nathan,

Can you please send us a screenshot of your current DNS Record? It usually takes up to 20 minutes to propagate. Can you also let us know your domain and your custom domain?

We also suggest contacting your host about that matter.

    Thanks

I'll see if I can work out how to do that DNS record and get back to you

for the time being here is the other stuff you asked for,

    My domain is http://premier-storage.co.uk

And my custom form domain was http://form.premier-storage.co.uk

    Custom URL

    @willerton

It should suppose to show JotForm homepage when you open http://form.premier-storage.co.uk. Your setup seems to be correct but I would suggest to review it further. Could you also try it to something like forms.premier-storage.co.uk. I'm not quite sure if this helps, but it's worth a try.

Kindly review your DNS settings and let us know if the problem still persist. Thanks!

How can I check my DNS records by the way? Is it something I have to do through the c-panel or through a website or do I have to contact my host?

    Cheers

    Hi Nathan,

You have to setup/check this to your Cpanel Account. If you're not familiar with these settings, we would suggest contacting your host to avoid any problems.

    Thanks
