Hi there,
Super basic question: can forms be set up so that users don't have to log in if sent a link to the form? What am I missing here? I have the permission set to public. I don't want to embed it on a website, just send a link.
I searched support for this, but didn't find it, so a link would be great if it's already covered there!
Thanks,
Peter

Hi, thank you for reaching out to us.
Please note that users don't need to sign in when filling out a public form. You can just simply to share the link of your form.
I hope this will help. Let us know if you have further questions. -

the link led to a sign-in page.

Hi, thank you for your response?
Is this the form you're referring to
https://www.jotform.com/form/201754254950051? If yes, I checked the form link with my different devices and it did not require me to sign in when filling the form. Please try clearing your browser's cache and try to open the form in a different device or browser.
Get back to us if the issue still persists. Thank you. -
HeartwoodTreeCoReplied on June 24, 2020 at 5:28 PMAny form at this point. I tried clearing cache on 3 different devices and
it's the same everywhere.
However, the link you sent in your last reply works fine. It also works
when I copy and paste the form link into an email.
So do I understand correctly that if you send an invitation, the user must
be logged in, but if you just send the link, they don't?

Yes, invited users need to log in. I suggest that you just have to copy the direct link of your form and share it with your users.
I hope this will help. Let us know if you have further questions. -
