    Hi Team,

We have an existing PDF Report that we use with our clients, we have now created a form that match the fields in this report. How do we upload our PDF Report so that we are able to edit it using the PDF editor?

    Thanks

    Thank you for reaching support,

You may have to covert the data first into Excel or CSV first then import it to JotForm then create the PDF Report.

    HI,

Thanks for your reply, however I think I might not have been clear in my question. We already have an existing PDF Design(template) that we would like to add to the pdf editor, so that we are able to use it with our jotform,

Is there a way to achieve this?

    Hello,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

    From the PDF EDITOR page...

    1. Click the ➕NEW PDF tab.

    2. Select the NEW PDF FORM option.

    3. On the IMPORT section of the modal popup, click the IMPORT PDF FORM button.

You'll be redirected to the PDF Converter page where you can see the imported PDF.

Keep in mind that the PDF will not look exactly as it was when it was imported. Our system will try its best to fetch and clone the form fields in your existing PDF form.

You may refer to our How Can I Import My Own PDF to JotForm guide for more related information.

Please give it a go and let us know how it goes.

thanks so much for that information Ariel, I'm still a bit confused. What I want to do is to have our users use the online jotform. Once they have completed the online form, the results are displayed in a pdf document. We already have an existing document template that I would like to use. However I don't see an option to import our template that will allow us to use it as the document for our form. But instead I only see the pdf form import function.

    Or am I missing something?

    Thanks

That is actually how the PDF Converter works. Unfortunately, this cannot work with existing forms.

    What-is-the-PDF-Converter

You have to import your fillable PDF file first so that the system creates its corresponding online form. Then you need to map the online fields to the PDF fields.
