    Hi,

I was getting duplicate submissions on one of my forms and I was told by one of your customer support reps that if I included a re-captcha that would fix the problem. Well it did fix the problem for a couple of weeks but just today I got a duplicate a submission. Can you please help? This is a really big problem for me and I can't have multiple submissions happening.

Are the date of the submission close enough to assume that the duplicate submission was submitted right after the first submission was submitted? May we know on what website your form is embedded, please? Or, is the form only being submitted form its direct link?

There are other ways to prevent duplicate submissions.

It is also possible that the duplicate submissions were submitted because the browser of your respondents was refreshed while on the Thank-you page of your form after submission.

I received the duplicate submission immediately after receiving the first one. The form is not embedded but is submitted using a direct link.  As for the unique questions, I'm not sure how I could make that work since my employees use the form to submit their time cards every day (and if sometimes multiple times if they made a mistake or want to update something on the time card). Any idea how I could use the unique questions and still make it work as I use the form?

The unique question feature will limit your employee from submitting depending on the field that you don't want to be repeated. For example, it can validate using your employees email, name etc..

Another suggestion is to set the "Allow Browser AutoComplete" to "No" so that it won't automatically fill the fields when page is refreshed on the thank you page. This is another way of preventing duplicate submission.

You should find that option under Form Settings > Settings > Show More Options.

Kindly try that and see if that helps.

Hi Jed! Thanks for your suggestions. I already set the "Allow Browser to AutoComplete" to "No". I hope that together with the recaptcha will do the trick.

    Thanks again!
