    I have 2questions.

How can I get the attached file names when a user click the the submit.

I would like to save the file names directly to our database.

How can I show the uploaded file names on the thank you message page?

I have read   {FILENAME:uploadA} , but how can I use it?

    many thanks.

    1. You can use a 3rd party storage service. Jotform can be integrated with either Google Drive or Dropbox

    2. If you wish to make your Thank you message to show only the file name, you can use this method:

If you wish for it to become clickable, you can proceed with creating an HTML link like this:

         <a target="_blank" href="{uploadA}">{FILENAME:uploadA}</a>

Make sure you use the html button, which is at the toolbar of a custom Thank You Message

Please check ths guide in order to know

Actually I made a mistake, please let me explain myself better

In your case it must not be uploadA  , the thread you might have found had that variable. (I assumed it was yours)

    For example, for this test form  my upload field variable name is  {sendUs}

How do we find out this?

You can get into your email notificaton and find it there

Once you do it, then you follow the steps above

    Yet another mistake!  =P

For question number 1, you have one more option.

You can use our FTP feature, to send your uploaded files to you own FTP server

    1.  Go to My Forms, click on the form that you want to enable ftp in then click Submissions button

    2.  Click the settings icon to the right side of the submissions page

    3.  Click Send Uploads to FTP

    4.  Enter your ftp credentials in the FTP Integration Wizard, then click Next

    5.  Configure the folders and directory where you want your uploads to be saved. Click Finish
