I use a product list on this form.

Some items have a quantity drop down box.

If user selects a quantity from the drop down box, the tick box gets automatically ticked.

However, my conditions only work if the user actually ticks the box themselves.

Is there any workaround for this or another way for the calculations to know that the field is filled?

In the attached screengrab, this shows one of my conditions. It does not work if someone selects a quantity of items. It only works if they tick the box.

    Thanks

I have tested on a cloned version however, it seems the condition does work even when the quantity is selected, the condition does fire.

Sample screen cast: In my sample, I have a field names sample that is hidden and will only show once the payment field is filled.

May we know if your form is embedded to a web page?

Can you please check your form again and let us know if the issue still remains?

Thank you for the quick reply. I have cloned the form and am still getting the same issue. It is not embedded in a web page.

Please try updating your form settings and set the Clear Hidden Field Values to Clear on Being Hidden. Here's a screenshot guide:

After that, please let us know if the issue still persists. Also, I cloned the form and I was not able to replicate the issue.

    Please check my screencast:

Am I testing it correctly? If yes, I was not able to replicate the issue.

Is this the correct form? https://form.jotformeu.com/201707293301345

If not, please share the correct form so we can test it further. You can also try cloning the form and see if the issue persists.

Not quite. It looks like you are selecting a quantity and then ticking and unticking the box.

I can replicate this on multiple forms. Try this simplified one:

    https://form.jotform.com/201765283451354

Select a quantity of the first option. The box will tick automatically. The field is now "filled" as far as a user is concerned and the total appears.

But you must add an additional item or tick and untick the box for the condition to work which is Show the text when the product list is filled.

It seems the quantity field is confusing as you have set it to 1 in which will select and deselect the field.

I would suggest you set the quantity range to 0 in which 0 is not filled/selected.

Please give it a try and let us know how it goes.

Thank you. You are right about the quantity being confusing. I've changed that to 0. But I still have the other issue. I'm baffled why you are not seeing it. I have tried on several devices.

After further testing it seems the conditions works correctly on FireFox but it doesn't trigger correctly on Chrome.

Here is a screen cast when I used the form in Chrome web browser:

I have escalated the issue to our back-end team for further investigation.
