I have seen this request asked multiple times throughout the forum for many, many years. We are considering purchasing JotForms but need to be able to filter the grid report that is displayed our website based on input. Please let me know what the status of this update request is so we can consider if we move forward with JotForm.  Thanks, David

You can do that in Grid Listing or HTML listing report. Here's a screencast on how to do it:

Please try it and let us know if you need further help.

You don’t understand the question.  I need to filter the data on the grid report.  You showed how to select fields.  That doesn’t help.  There needs to be a way when building the droid report that you can define filters for what is displayed.

Hello David - I understand that what you are trying to achieve is to filter the data that will be shown in the listing based on the actual field values. Unfortunately, this isn't implemented yet.

Let me raise this as a feature request ticket as well. We cannot provide you an ETA for this, but we'll keep you posted here once it gets implemented in the future.

Please keep in mind that there's no assurance whether this will be implemented. It will highly depend on the viability of the feature, the number of similar requests we get, along with the workload of our Developers.

Thanks.  I have seen this request made many many times by users.  An update from Jotforms developers would give us all some confidence that they are listening.

We understand, but the tickets are pending. However, that doesn't mean our developers aren't listening. It's more of the priority tickets.

Thank you for your kind understanding on this matter. We'll keep you posted.
