Change input grid radio button style

Hello-

I was hoping to get assistance with changing the input grid radio button style to a check box style. However, I only want a single selection option per line item. I know I can change the option to check box, but that allows multiple selections. This is a Yes or No question.

Unfortunately, there isn't a reliable way to change the style of the radio button to appear as a checkbox. Every method I have tried may require changing the HTML/JS source code and causes issues across different browsers.
