my account has been suspended again due to phishing suspicion. This happened last week and the items on my form that were suspected were deleted by admin. I do not receive any information like that anymore. Can I please have my account reinstated

    Hi,

Your account was suspended because one of your forms used a plain text field for collecting credit card information, which is against our terms of use.

We understand you may not be using your forms for phishing purposes; however, we need to act according to our terms in order to protect our users.

You can only ask credit card information using any of our Payment Integrations to process payments.

Let us know if you agree with the terms, we'll remove those guilty fields and reactivate your account.

Yes I agree with the terms. I thought the fields were already removed.

Just delete that whole form because I don't use it. Thank you

    Hi there,

Apologies for the inconvenience, I have now reactivated the account, you may do the necessary changes to the forms.

Additionally, For credit card information: Online Form Builders, including Jotform, are sometimes being used for identity theft and we go to great lengths to prevent this. That is why collecting these types of data is considered as phishing activity, as stated in our Terms of Use.

If your purpose is not to collect these data from the general public, but from your own customers, then you need to comply with two things:

    1. Add the Terms & Conditions Widget (or the Short Scrollable Terms Widget) for your users to read and agree.

    2. Add a Signature Widget so your users can sign and agree to provide such sensitive information.

Please observe these guidelines to prevent future suspension and interruption of your service.

Let us know if you have any further questions and thank you for your patience.

    Best.
