    Form collapse and conditional logic

Asked by bidtrans on May 03, 2011 at 10:00 AM

I have a little problem using form collapse and conditional logic.First of all I do not know how to place fields inside Form collapse? As soon as I place Form collapse onto form everything that under it gets inside it.

Second, my form is form client that ships parcels and upon user selection I would like to display 1,2 or 3 Form collapse for user to enter details. Lets say a user want to send 2 parcels, he selects 2 from radio button list and then 2 Form collapses shows up for data to be entered. Help!

    Hello Peter,

A form collapse works just like you mentioned. Any field that proceeds after it automatically gets inside the form collapse. The only way to break it is to add another form collapse.

As for your second concern, unfortunately form collapses cannot be used in a condition. That is, it cannot be ordered (via conditions) to show or hide the fields under it. A workaround I can suggest to you is to add multiple sets of fields for the user details, then use conditions to hide or show them.

Hope youy find this post useful. I you have further questions, feel free to contact us again.

    Hello Peter,

This problem has been fixed. Form collapse can now be used in show/hide conditions.

Feel free to let me know if you encounter any other issues.
