Autoresponder Emails + SMTP: Client needs to know the originating ip addresses that jotform sends mail from when it connects to their SMTP server

    Hi Patrick,

Ok, I guess I'm not explaining myself properly.

I do not need to know the jotform spf entries (that is for jotform's use only and allows them to authorise certain ip addresses to send on their behalf)

I need to know the originating ip addresses that jotform sends mail from when it connects to my own smtp server, i know that it sends mail from 94.136.40.159 and also 94.136.40.62 and also 94.136.40.146 as when i trigger autoresponder emails, these are the addresses that have been the source ip addresses for mail sending

There may be others, hence i have authorised the entire 94.136.40.xxx range though this may be overkill and therefore less secure

I have therefore added these ip addresses to my SPF entries to authorise them to send mail through my smtp server for hilltopkennels.co.uk

Spam filters check for SPF entries that match the sender ip address in order to decide whether the mail is legitimate or not.

My question therefore is are you able to give me a list of the source ip addresses that jotform will be using to send email through my smtp server in order that I may add those ip addresses to my SPF entries, instead of just having a blanket full range authorisation.

    eg

ip 94.136.40.159 => connects to my smtp server and sends an email as admin@hilltopkennels.co.uk

third party spamfilter checks for an spf entry in the hilltopkennels.co.uk DNS settings for 94.136.40.159 - if one exists it scores low for spam, if it doesn't exist then the msg will be marked as potential spam

If this isn't clear, could this ticket be escalated to someone with specific dns/spf experience?

    Many thanks,

    Simon
