We are looking to make a raffle for our org. through a digital form software like you. Can this be done?

    Hello Mendel,

I'm sure the form to collect the entries is possible with JotForm. Would you mind letting us know how you want the raffle to work? We need the details, so we know what steps to provide you.

    Thanks

What we need is a front end and a back end. The front end should be with all the details needed to process a raffle ticket, including charging credit card. The backend should be in a way that we are able to put in less information to process raffle tickets (if someone paid by check etc).

We would like each virtual raffle ticket to have its raffle ticket unique number. Could a virtual raffle ticket be sent out as a PDF? Of course the tax deductible receipt needs it’s own generate a number as well.

Best case scenario if this whole system could be attached to our CRM so there’s no need for a double entry. Let me know your thoughts and if you have any questions. Thanks so much

    Frontend:

We have Stripe, Square, etc. that can process payments with credit cards directly. You can find a handful of payment guides through the following link:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/chapter-7-Payment+Forms

    Backend:

All fields are available on the submissions page.

    https://www.jotform.com/help/269-How-to-View-Form-Submissions

If there's a need to create a specific report, you can do this with a PDF document.

    https://www.jotform.com/help/555-Applying-Form-Submission-Data-into-a-PDF-Document

    Raffle ticket as PDF:

Yes, per the above guide. You can format the PDF to include a few fields only. As for the unique number, you would need to add the Unique ID or Random Value Generator widget in the form.

    https://www.jotform.com/widgets/unique-id

    https://www.jotform.com/widgets/random-value-generator

Guide to add a widget: https://www.jotform.com/help/252-How-to-Add-a-Widget-to-Your-Form.

I'm afraid we do not have a feature for a tax receipt. You would need to do this manually.

    Attach to CRM:

What is your current CRM? Please visit our Apps page for our list of CRMs: https://www.jotform.com/integrations/category/crm. We have a number of CRM integrations. If none of the existing ones is your current CRM, we can send a request to our backend team. Just one thing for requests, it may take time.

    Thanks

Why don’t you think a tax receipt would be doable? All it is is a PDF with a unique number. Please advise.

Is the tax receipt number you are referring to will not come from another source and you would also like it to be generated within the form? If yes, then you can also just use a different Random Value Generator widget for it. Feel free to let us know if you need any further assistance.

We have our own design for the raffle tickets. We just want to add a raffle number to the tickets (between specific numbers, i.e. 1001-4000) and have each person who purchases a ticket auto-receive their raffle ticket PDF and tax receipt (also just adding a number to a PDF). And we also want a copy of each email sent to go to our email too.

How would we go about doing this?

If you want to have specific numbers, I can only suggest you to use the Unique ID widget. If you want to send raffle tickets with the Unique ID to your user when they submit the form, you will need to create the PDF Document with our PDF Editor.

    You can also generate invoices.

    Hi,

We can only send tax receipts for 75% of the ticket (meaning $75 on $100). Is it possible to implement that in an automatic invoice?

Another question: when people order say, five raffle tickets, they only get one number/ticket.

Is there any way to assign several Unique ID numbers (per $100) and to issue separate tickets as PDF attachments?

You can use the Form Calculation widget to calculate tax receipts for 75% and include it to the Invoice.

    Example - https://form.jotform.com/201955012157045

You can not assign several Unique IDs to one submission.

    Hi,

    1. Can we auto-issue a tax receipt email upon payment process or send an automatic email with an invoice if they opt to pay by cheque?

In other words, if I buy a ticket I would receive an auto-tax receipt by email. And if I click "will send cheque" I would receive an invoice by email...

Please note that you can add only one payment field to the form. If you want to allow your user to pay right away or later via check, please check the following guide:

How to Create a Basic Multiple Payment Form

In each form, you can create a PDF Document or Invoice and send it when the form is submitted to your users via Autoresponder Email.
