    Webhook did not go out

    Webhook was not sent... I'd like to know why and also can we force webhooks to go out again?

    Hi Cory,

    Using Zapier Webhook won't work to your form. You'll have to code your own PHP Script for this to work. Example Notification can be found on this thread: http://www.jotform.com/answers/238112.

    I've been using Zapier for weeks now with no trouble and since this failed submission I have sucessfully tested the form and it works fine. So what you are telling me is you pass the blame on to Zapier even when they say they did not receive the hook??

    This is pretty disappointing. I have been back and forth with JotForm trying to find a reliable solution to manage my form Submissions. We started with email notifications but they were failing, then to webhooks, now you want me to write my own code.

    I don't mean to blame anyone or any system. I have been checking Zapier Lately but do not see the option such as this. That is why I'm telling you to have your own codes for notifications.

    Can you please give me the Link to start with setting up the Webhook to Zapier? I'd like to try that so I can further help you troubleshoot the caused of the error. Can you also let us know what is the "Action" with your current Zap?

    Why use a webhook for this when you can create an asana task from jotform submission?

    I would prefer that method however the payment field for PayPal is not formatable using the JotForm to Asana zap and the payment info comes in very illegible.

    Hi,

    I have just tried using the Webhook to Asana and its works for me without problems. However, I'm using my own form to test it out to "Create Task" to Asana.

    I've cloned your form, can you let me know the following:

    1. Webhook (Is it Catch Hook or Retrieve Poll)

    2. Asana (Is it Create Project, Create Task or Create Story)

    Let me know so I could test it further. You may also try re-doing the Zap.

    @chatton 

    Webhook is working fine. I have tested it with Asana and the data is forwarded without any issues. I would suggest to edit your zapier - asana setup, make sure you have mapped the fields properly. Submit a test with your form if necessary so you can pick the right fields to mapped it to asana tasks fields.

    My test works so far.

    I would suggest to make a little review in your zapier setup. It should be fine. Thanks!

    Also, about the form "31536884623965" in question, may we know why there are few webhook URLs in this form? Does each of this URL has different functions? If they all do the same, I would suggest to leave the active one and removed the others to do some further testing.

    As I said before - my form is working fine also. I've tested, tested and re-tested. The issue is - every once in awhile one will fail as it did this morning. We never know when a submission will fail. 

    The bottom line is reliability, we have to have it especially with a payment form.

    Mike,

    I appreciate you looking into this.

    The reason for multiple hooks is because I have a filtered zap setup in zapier for each of the four employees that use the form and one for non employees.

    EDIT: If you could get the payment field formatted in a more readable layout I would just use Zapier's integration... the preferred method.

    Hi Cory,

    I have contact with Bryan from Zapier, to investigate the issue, he ask you to send an email to contact@zapier.com.

    On our end, we do not have any logs related with form 31536884623965 and webhooks. It's not possible for our webhook workers to send any request without leaving logs. 

    I'm just curious about if you have been using JotForm's Zapier app instead of Zapier's hooks or not. Please contact with Zapier to find out the problem. If they find anything wrong related with us, we can fix it ASAP.
