What if my customer want to use the gift certifate when they checkout ONLINE? I have several subription set up using Paypal Pro. Is there a way to have the customer enter the gift certificate  number/ID and get credited at the checkout? I MOSTLY do online transactions.

Hi, Once you added the products in your paypal payment option wizard and click next, you will find an option for adding coupons for your products like as shown below.

Use this wizard to add coupons to your products.

    Hope this information helps you.

    Thank you.

That was fast! Sidenote: I tried Formstack and now I'm back. Love the upgrades.
I feel like I'm getting close. I looked for that coupon button in my wizard but didn't have any luck. Does it only work for products? My customers purchase fitness services. I have them set up as subscriptions. 6 months of group training= $110 paid monthly.
    Fingers crossed.

For Subscriptions you can use trail period options.

But, if you want to wish give coupon codes/ offer for specific users, you have to use Product option. If you wish to provide offers for all users, then you can use Subscriptions - Trail and First payment options.

Feel free to ask if you need further assistance.

    Thank you.

I'm confused. Customer purchases gift certificate. They go to my site and click register. They choose the program the want from the resist ration form. How do they use they apply the gift certificate towards what they purchase? How would that work with a trial period? Isn't that something I do on my end?

    Hi,

    Please review this guide How-To-Add-Coupon-Code-in-the-Payment-Form

The coupon code option is available only for products. You cannot have coupon code for subscriptions and donations payment options.

So, for your gift certificate form or registration form, you must have the My Products options to be able to add coupon code.

Hope this explains it better. Please inform us if you need further clarification about it.

    Thanks.
