Airtable Integration: Send Email validator widget value into Airtable fields

There is already an article from 2019 asking this question, and it still doesn't work.  Regular Email fields integrate into Airtable, but the Email Validator field is not available for integration into Airtable.  I've tried making it an email field type in airtable, as well as a short text and long text.

Unfortunately, currently, you can connect only the basic e-mail field to the Airtable integration.

I have forwarded your ticket to the backend team and mark it as a feature request. Please note that there is no assurance that this will be implemented. It depends on the number of similar requests, which we will receive and the workload of our developers.

We can not provide any time frame for this, but we will update you on this ticket.

Thank you for your response.  After researching this quite a bit ... I came up with a VERY acceptable (to me) work around.

    1. Add the Email Validator to your form.

    2. Add a standard Email to the form, go to Settings for Email, advanced, and mark it hidden.

    3. Go to Form Settings, Conditions

    4. Add a Condition that says When Email Validator is Filled, then populate the Email field with the result.

    5. On Integrations, now you can use the standard Email form component to integrate with Airtable.

    Thanks.

Thank you for sharing the workaround you found. I also agree that it is the only way you can achieve the requirements you mentioned in this ticket. Feel free to let us know if you need any further assistance.
