    Hello liz.amick , do you mean that you want to place a Dropdown Box and a Textbox within a Matrix? or?

    To my knowledge unfortunately we don't have a feature to allow that to be done. My suggestion to work around this would be to alternate fields with what you need in the form editor itself. 

    Now if you don't mind getting your hands dirty with some programming to configure this as a more advanced form it is possible to rearrange the form's source code to develop this format. However, this would then require you to embed the form's full source code instead.
