Filepicker Integration Has Trashed My Google Spreadsheet Integration
The more I work at this ***** filepicker integration so that you lot can have a world-class product ... the more things I find wrong with the whole thing ....
Prior to the filepicker API update:
The filepicker field would deliver just the url of the image to the google spreadesheet. This mean't it could be used in the spredasheet to show the image, etc
After the filepicker API Integration:
Now it has changed to deliver some half-garbled unfinished html with it ... rendering it useless
So, if you could pass this on to Ken ... i'd be grateful.

Hey Mark, I think you are speaking about the filepicker Advanced Settings for S3 and API correct? Please correct me if I am misinterpreting the issue. When I checked the normal integration with use of it this is what I got this instead of a normal link -
" https://www.filepicker.io/api/file/BzgMYsloSQSXHB0RjUFZ" title="xbox-is-down_JOKE.png "
So I can only imagine how yours is looking like since I know you like to test these things to push them to the max. Would you mind sharing one of these links so we can see what exactly is going on to recreate the problem for testing it further. Either that or provide a screenshot? - Thank You in Advance.

That is the same syntax problem with output that I am getting ... ?
So, we can conclude that the jotform >> Google Speadsheet Integration pipes indecipherable html.
Added to which the delay is around 20 minutes for submissions to hit the spreadsheet ... bit too long really

Mark, I have created a bug report ticket about the issue with filepicker upload links on the Google Spreadsheets.
We will keep you updated through this thread.

Forget it. It doesn't work anyway ... and I can't be arsed to tell you why ... just more time fopr jotform benefit ... not mine .... you lot can work it out yourself ... which you won't

Hi, Sorry about the rant above ... can be frustrating ... new morning ... ;-)
To be clear on this ...
Prior to the recent implementation of the new Filepicker API ... Google Spreadsheets would import the image data as a normal url string ... and thus happily present itself as the url that hyperlinked off into a new window ... perfect.
Since the new implementation of the filepicker API ... this has changed to an incoherent html string that is useless.
Please look at the field called Photo in this google spreadsheet ... column 5 downwards is the change in behaviour: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AogxdfOvltKQdGRNU2lUMTZKczJoekFXdTNBWU5JOHc#gid=1
So ... a broken process ...

Hi mark, can you please accept my request to look into your spreasheet so that I can investigate the problem.
Developers are still aware of all the issues you have been reporting so this will take some time to fixed. But we will do our best to deliver the product you wanted. We will update you as soon as new fix arrived
Thanks for your patience,

Do you need anything from me? ... I'm unclear if you need be to do something ... like give you access to spreadsheet or whatever.
PS. I've given up on the google spreadsheet thing ... but will help ;-)
- JotForm SupportkennethAnswered on July 19, 2013 at 10:23 AM
Mark, I got "You need permission to access this item." so I wanted some access to check the issues on your spreadsheets.
- markashtonAnswered on July 19, 2013 at 10:35 AM
This spreadsheet ... I have now made accessible to anyone who has the link:
To be honest Ken ... I'm not using this anymore ... it displays the images in the wrong orientation anyway so you are fixing something that will be broken when finished
This is what needs to be done:
- JotForm SupportkennethAnswered on July 19, 2013 at 10:45 AM
So it was working now? No any other HTML tags appears on your spreadsheet anymore or still has?
If I'm correct this report was generated when you submit the form because of your google spreadsheet integration?
Also, please dont chain any other threads from here, we haven't confirmed if this issue you opened was resolved already. We need to isolate things so that we can fix them in order. Hope you understand that.

This has had a submission today through Google Spreadsheet Integration. I have made it editable for you to look at:
can you see the column titled Photo? Look at todays submission ... html stuff .. yeah?
Is this OK ... I don't quite undrestand what you are asking me in the last post.
Please clarify. I'll come back straight away
- JotForm SupportkennethAnswered on July 19, 2013 at 12:47 PM
Hi mark, this should be fixed by now. It will now be the same as exporting reports to csv and excel, multiple links/uploads will be separated by "|" character.
Confirm if it works from you end.
- markashtonAnswered on July 19, 2013 at 12:53 PM
I can confirm that that works from the submission I've just made.
Well done ....
Is that url accessible in any way ... via a field?
- JotForm SupportkennethAnswered on July 19, 2013 at 01:18 PM
Mark I'm not sure what you mean by that. Accessible from a field? From the form? from the reports? from the spreadsheet? Or what do you want to do with URL? can you be more specific on this one.
