Asked by Wtfuck on July 18, 2013 at 05:12 PM

    Hi Jotform Team,

Can you add this Feature in your list.

It just came to me. I think it can be useful.

Hi! although this feature is not yet implemented, I think you could reach something similar making two identical fields and setting one of them as "required" and the other as "unrequired", then you can use a condition to show or not to show the required or unrequired field depending on the situation.

I hope this explanation is not too confusing.

Guilledutra's solution would work. I've done that before. However, the ability to set a field to required under certain conditions and not required under others would be useful. I've submitted a ticket requesting that functionality.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

    Hi, with this feature,

I think it would be handy for this condition to allow multiple selection. (Rather than time-consumingly adding a new action for each question in the form)

E.g if 'Name' is selected as 'Test', then unrequire all fields.
