My Forms Request: Allow folders to sort by user preferenceAsked by markashton on July 22, 2013 at 09:14 AM
The new form interface groups your folders alphabetically.
This assumes that alphabetical is the used norm. I've never used alphabetical ... it makes no sense to me ... I like to group by importance ... or what feels right.
The old interface uses drag and drop sorting of folders. I oike being able to darg and drop the folders ... gives a feeling of control.
Can I request that the drag and drop ability be reinstated to the new interface for folders.
It cannot be denied that flexibility with regard to organisation of folders is less with the new interface
I think you have some point. Let me submit this as a feature request. We'll see what our dev team can come up with this one.
Thank you for your suggestion. We will provide updates as soon as any progress available.
I think this is probably the most obvious problem with the new My Forms page. You cannot sort the results manually like the old version. We are going to work on a "Manual" sorting option and get back to you when it is ready. Thanks.
I envisioned Drag & Drop - It is the most intuitive. Did you?
Our higher support will provide you updates when available.
I have another update for you. Just in case you were not already aware I completed a drag and drop function for sorting the list of folders.
You can drag a folder by placing the mouse over the folder icon to the left of the folder name and dragging from there.
Please let me know if you experience any bugs or problems with this.
My intial test confirms this to be the case ... works nicely .... any bugs and I shall let you know.
Thanks Mucho Gusto
This appears to work after testing ... but to the detriment of being unable to move any forms ... in any way ... see thread here:
