    Invalid Merchant Configuration

    I am getting this error on a simple Paypal Website Payments Pro form. I previously had an existing API configuration which worked perfectly, but somebody brought this failure to my attention within the last 48 hours. I have done nothing that I know of within Paypal to change things. I have even deleted the existing APi and requested a new one and integrated that into the form. Sadly no joy. I can't think what might be wrong.

    I am inputting a Visa cc number using the Visa etc. payment method/button and it is returning "Invalid Merchant Configuration" from JotForm each time. Others have had the same error message so at the moment I have a problem taking money!

    All help gratefully received!

    Hello JP,

    In your submissions, were there any that paid using credit cards? or all your submissions paid via Paypal?

    So far I have checked your form and it only returns an error whenever you try to pay using credit card.  I believe this is beyond our control so you might want to ask Paypal's technical support about this.

    We'll wait for your response.

    Many thanks for the prompt support. It was actually traced to an issue
    at Paypal with an expired credit card.
