Square > Recurring Payment: Possibility to update a user's information on Jotform

    Hey!

The company that I work for is experiencing issues with the communication going on between JotForm and Square.

The flow of our system goes JotForm to Square.  The problems we're experiencing tend to stem from the fact that once we update in Square, that information isn't communicating to JotForm, or something is getting lost in between.

We run a subscription service for a vinyl record club.  When members need their payment information updated, we'll do it in Square.  If we need to manually updated a member's information at all, we'll do it in Square.

As a result, the payments aren't going through because they aren't updating in JotForm.  Do you know what the issue may be?

    Thanks!

    Best,

    Brad

Sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you.

I'm not exactly sure, but it seems that the recurring payments are triggered on our end. As far as I know, when the payment information updated is updated on Square it will not be updated on our end, so this is not a bug. I will raise a feature request to our developer for a possibility to update the payment information on our side when it is updated on Square. However, please note that we cannot provide you the exact time when and if this will be implemented. If there is any update we will inform you via this support ticket.

Can you please provide us a link of the form to which the issue is related?

For now, I can only suggest you to ask the users to re-subscribe.
