Kusi06Asked on August 4, 2020 at 9:00 AMBTW2: Form Builder would even be much more usefulle, if it would not only be linkable to one form, but to addtional tables also having the same field int the table (eg. emailaddress or customer number). So jotform would become a kind of database funktion, which i am terribly missing since many years...
It would be great, if developpers could do something in this direction. -

If you mean you would like to create a "relationship" between forms as it is in a Relational Database programs, currently, this isn't possible at the moment. A form's field cannot be linked to a field from another form.
If that's what you're referring to, we can forward this as a feature request. Please confirm.
Or if you're referring to something else, please let us know in detail so we can check.

You are exactly right. That’s what I am looking for.
Implementing DB functionality would probably be one of the greatest improvements / features you could implement for many of your customers
Thank you!

Alright. I will be forwarding this as a feature request to our developers. I cannot provide you an ETA as to when or assurance if this will be implemented, but we'll let you know here once an update is provided.
Regarding the databases, meantime, you can integrate your forms with MySQL (if that's the database you are using) and you can link the tables there. Here's a guide on How-to-send-Submissions-to-Your-MySQL-Database-Using-PHP.
