I'm not sure if I understood your question correctly. Do you want to hide the total number of responses?
If so, you can do it inside of the Chart Settings, by disabling the Show Summary option.
I created a new support ticket for Language translation.

I was not aware that this was about the future request.I trie to explain...
Let's assume, that the number 12 would be showing the total of all responses of 84.
I could hide the responses in the subtitle area, as you described BUT there would still be shown the total (inside of the chart 4.92 of 84 responses). So people still would see the total responses in this type of chart
