Signature widgets (all) not showing signature as signing.

    Hello!

I'm creating forms for my practice and I've included signature capability. No matter which one I try, when I go to sign it nothing shows when I'm signing but allows me to continue as if I signed it. This happens on my laptop, desktop, and tablet. When I preview the form before submitting, it shows a broken image. I haven't submitted it as I don't want this to happen when patients sign it. I want them to be able to see their signature right when they sign it!

I have some of my forms in a lightbox so I'm not sure if that's affecting it or what (not sure why it would) but I need this resolved ASAP so we can start using the online forms!

    Can anyone help?

    Ross

    Apologies for the inconveniences caused.

I have been testing your form and was able to see the issue on your embedded form; however, this does not happen. It seems like you have used your own code for the lightbox, may you confirm?

The issue may be related to a conflict with the embedded code, I would recommend you to try using the iFrame code, the following guide will help you to get it: https://www.jotform.com/help/148-Getting-the-Form-iFrame-Code

Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks for the speedy reply!

You are correct: I was using a widget for the lightbox (Popup Maker for WordPress, to be exact).

I changed it to iframe but it's not able to go fullscreen. Is there a way I can use the lightbox embed code with Popup Maker and have it function correctly? When I try to put the lightbox embed code directly in a button with Beaver Builder, it breaks BB on that page and I'm unable to edit the page.

With Popup Maker, I've been using the shortcode from the JotForm plugin. Is there a better way?

    Thanks!

    Hello,

You can enable the Full-Screen mode of the iFrame embed method. Here's a screencast:

Will that work for you? Or do you still not want the iFrame embed method?

I'll use any method that will make the form appear as a popup and work! I've used the iframe code both in the Popup Maker widget - still unable to sign as well as in like a collapsible menu but unable to sign.

What am I doing wrong? What's the best way to make the form popup so I can have multiple buttons or "links" on the page that the employee can tap to open the form for the patient to fill out?

I visited the website and test the signature field and it is working properly. I am using the Google Chrome browser. Could you please check if I tested the embedded form properly?

Did you edit/change the embedded form?

Yes! I got it working earlier - just didn't have time to write back.

I was using the lightbox code instead of the iframe which was causing issues. I used the iframe code and the button comes up like a lightbox and we're good!

Thank you for your help! :-)
