Not able to a send an email to Donors after submission( Update)Asked by ctcww on July 27, 2013 at 09:29 PM
To give you an idea... on my form I have created several "conditions" so that once the donor makes a selection and press "continue" they should receive one of two thank you email. At first, everything was working smoothly and responsively however I've noticed when I input Paypal items in form and that after the donor click the given amount to donate then click on "continue" that the donor is redirected to Paypal but is not receiving a "Thank You" email.
I've tested this several times and still was not able to get a thank you email. Do you think that once the donor submit payment via Paypal and receive a confirmation from Paypal then and only then will they recieve our "Thank You" email?
PLEASE HELP!!!!! ASAP
I see "Test $0.01 USD" test product in your form so I've made an actual payment with the test product selected through Paypal and got the autoresponder email (thank you email you mean). I also see the thank you page after the payment.
Here's my test:
Here's the autoresponder email I received.
If your clients paid or made an actual payment after they're redirected to Paypal, they should get an autoresponder message automatically unless they closes the browser or leave the payment page. That would result to "Incomplete Payments". How to View Incomplete Payments.
Thank You very much for your feedback and help!
