The data is stored in one cell. Each column is comma separated, while the rows are added in a new line within the same cell.

Below is an example of how it actually looks when exported to Excel.

Sorry to jump in but how to split data row1col1, row1col2, row2col1, and row2col2 into 4 different cells? not in 1 cell. while using text to column, the result is Column1:row1col1... etc... (I only consider row1col1, row1col2,row2col1, and row2col2 in 4 different cells)

Unfortunately, it is not possible to segregate the data from the configurable list into different columns.

You may also take a look at our Grid Report, the information will be separated by columns.

Another alternative would be to use the Input table field:

Or, which will work best, to have all fields created with separate basic fields:

Since only that will ensure that each field is exported to separate cells in Excel.
