Testing directly from your site in preview mode or in the email alerts notification window it will send an email notification to myself on serveral email accounts that I have. It seems to have an issue sending to the final email account that I want to use which is a google mail account (firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com)
I am trying to see if gmail is quaranteening it but have not been able to determine that as of yet.
you should be able to test on any form by sending to firstname.lastname@example.org (my acct) and look at the logs

I have checked our mail logs and it seems that the email messages were sent successfully for both addresses

Have you tried checking your Spam/Bulk/Junk Mail folders for the missing emails? If not, please do. Also, I have sent a test email to email@example.com using my personal email. If you did not receive that email, then the problem lies with your mail provider and not on our end. You may want to contact your mail provider or check your dns settings with Gmail.
