I need to know if your product can pre-fill a form from an external source like an excel file.

I’m looking to export some data from our DB into a file. From that file I would like to be able to draw info from that file when our guy selects a date. It would then fill in fields like name, address, etc.

From my assessment so far, since the JotForm form is web based, it would be more simple if you can first post the info into the web so that you can then push the info via URL method to the JotForm form's field.
Hope this help. Please inform us if you have further inquiry.

I would like to know if we have any option where we can upload an excel file to jotform with the fields available in the form.
Same fields should reflect in the form with a submit option.

We have an app that can be used to import data (previous submissions) from excel files to add to existing form submissions . You can view it here: http://apps.jotform.com/app/import_data
This app will simply amend the submissions listing for your form and it will not add the Excel file to your uploaded files for access. Can this work for you? Please advise.
