Appointment field: allow users to cancel appointment

    Hi, I am using the Appointment field available under Basic fields for scheduling needs.

    But if at all if we want to cancel the appointment, how can we achieve it?

    You can delete the submission related to that appointment from your form submission page - https://www.jotform.com/help/377-How-to-Delete-Form-Submission-Data 

    This will reinstate the appointment slot on the field.

    But is it not possible for user themself to cancel it?

    Hello,

    Sorry, but that option is not available for the users.

    You (as a form owner) will need to cancel the same from the Form submission page.

    Users can reply back on their autoresponders and ask you to cancel the appointment.

    Just add a "Reply to" email in the autoresponder so that their reply reaches you.

    However, if you want we can forward this as a feature request that could allow users to cancel the appointments from their end itself, which would automatically clear their appointment on the field.

    Thanks for the details.

    Yes, I definitely req to add a feature where User can cancel the appointment themself.

    Because, Form owners doesnt have to take additional burden or overhead to deal with it.

    It would be better if the Users can manage and deal with it.

    @Gerard

    I did Delete all submissions for my form - https://form.jotform.com/202215815993155

    But when I go to fill my form, the appointment slots that has been taken before are still showing as not available.

    My expectation is, once the submissions are deleted, the appointment slots will be cleared and it will be enabled again for new submission.

    I did click, Clear Cache from setting page too.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
