How To Extract Submission Edit Link

Asked by bhanukaran on July 31, 2013 at 05:29 AM

    Hi Team,

I want to find out where i can find all the edit entry links generated for the users who have submitted their entries and who wish to edit their entry in later stages.

We are running a photo contest where we will be accepting only text entries initially and we will short-list people based on their text entries  and the we will mail them back with their respective edit entry links so that they can upload images to their text entry.

Can you help me find out where these edit links are stored for each entry submitted or can u help me with some easier way which i can utilize to extract these links back for me to send it to the shortlisted users again.

    Thanks

    Bhanu

A similar threadthat you have opened with the same question has already been answered in this link. Please refer to that thread for the solution. In addition to that, you can use the url to generate an edit link manually.

    http://www.jotform.com/form.php?formID=FORMID&sid={id}&mode=edit

wherein FORMID is your form ID and  {id} is the submission ID which can be found in the submission window.

    Hi,

I tried accessing my submisson by manually creating the link:

    http://www.jotform.com/form.php?formID=32092300603843&sid=241596716711702000&mode=edit

    Hi Bhanu,

Another workaround to edit submissions, is just simply add edit link tag on your form's notification.

To see how it works, please take a look at this video: http://www.screencast.com/t/L7S160cx

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

    Thank you!
