upgrade to gold plan with sale

Hi I just upgraded to the gold plan with the 50% off sale and then I read that we should be getting a 50% off anyway because we are education. How do I get the educational discount or do I need to do anything once the sale price of the one expires next year.

After checking your account, I have found that you are actually subscribed to a Silver account and not Gold. If you would like to upgrade to Gold, please use the following user guide for assistance: How-to-Upgrade-My-Account

Also, in regard to your discount inquiry, it is not possible to apply two discounts to your purchase at one time.

If you are already approved for the Educational discount, which offers a 50% price reduction, you will not receive an additional 50% price reduction for the Summer Sale. 

The same goes for vise-versa, if you apply a 50% summer sale discount, you cannot apply an additional 50% Educational or Nonprofit discount.
