    Hi there,

I have just signed up and like what you have to offer.

Regarding the unique id i would like to use this for my clients paypal transaction id.

When i insert this it tells me this won't be visible on the form?.... how can i make that visible?

Also on every submit do i guarantee an email confirm as this is important.

    Thanks

    Tyson.

    Hi,

I do not think that Paypal allows you to use your own transaction ID. As far as I know, transaction id's are autogenerated and therefore you cannot use the Unique ID as the transaction ID for the order.

Unique ID's cannot be visible. They only serve as a unique key for each valid submission so that means it cannot be displayed on a form because it is not submitted yet. You can find unique id's for each submisssion entry in the form's submissions page.

Yes for every submit, you are expected to receive a notification email granted that your email alerts are set up properly.

If you have further questions, please let us know.  Thank you for taking interest in Jotform.

    Tyson,

Well, you can probably insert a textbox that asks for the user's paypal transaction id. You can find the Text Box field under the Form Tools.

You should set the field as Required so that they won't be able to submit the form without filling out their transaction ID.

To set a field as required:

    1.  Click on the field
    2.  Click the Required button in the toolbar
    3.  Save your form. Note: A red asterisk should appear after the field's label

Hope this information was of any use to you. Contact us again if you need more help.

    Hi again,

I am looking to sign up sometime soon. The reason i want a business email
like this is so customers can fill out the required information after
    payment is recieved from paypal.

Does jotform work and support with paypal. If so is it fairly straight
    forward to set up?

    Thanks.

    Hi Tyson,

Thank you for your interest in JotForm. The answer is a big resounding YES! Paypal smoothly integrates with JotForm and setting it up is very straightforward, it will only take you a few minutes, depending on the number of products you want to sell.

    Here are the steps:

    1) Add the Paypal field from the Payment Tools menu.

    2) Click the wand icon  to open the Payment Wizard and setup your Paypal account in your JotForm form.

    3) On the next screen, enter your Paypal account details. Click Next.

    4) Choose whether you want to sell items, accept subscription payments, or accept donations. Click Next

    5) Add product items to your form.

    6) Click Next, then Finish to save the form.

That's how easy it is. Many have already discovered and actually used this feature on their forms, and now is the time you discover it yourself.

We hope you find this information useful. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance to you. Thank you for using JotForm!

    Hi Neil,

    Just one more thing?..

I like how Jotform can interface with google and can you also create a email
support ticket with this service as well...like a support, enquiry ticket?

    Thank you
    Tyson.

    Hello Tyson,

That request (Google Docs integration) has been documented and forwarded to our user requests list. There is no need to create such a ticket because our development team are aware of the existense of such a request. As in the case of major feature updates, we will have this posted over the Jotform Blog if ever this gets approved and completed.

For now, I cannot guarantee a lead time for completion as our devleopers do not have the luxury of time to grant all our users' requests.

Anyway, thank you for your input. Your request is duly noted. If you have anything else to ask, please do. Our support team members are standing by to assist you.

    Hi Neil,

The only reason i asked is because it might be easier having an email
support ticket rather that just using my business email as i can process
payments, emails etc together with jotform.

    Thanks again.

    Hello Tyson,

I apologize for the confusion, but can you exactly tell me what you mean with this text in your post:

I like how Jotform can interface with google and can you also create a email
support ticket with this service as well...like a support, enquiry ticket?

I am not quite getting what you posted. I assumed that you were asking about Jotform's integration with Google Docs, hence the reply about report tickets, feature request lis etc.

I look forward for your response. Thank you.
