Post Data on hidden fields

I am having a hard time with the Post Data on hidden fields.  I am trying to get users to complete a survey.  I am including their email as a parameter in the url and adding conditional logic to hide the email form field if the email is filled.  

However, when I submit the data, the email does not appear in the Post Data.  Neither does it appear in the submission data when I look at the individual submissions.  

I've tried this with the Email field and the Short Text field.  Whenever I make the form field hidden, it is not included in the post data.

Any suggestions?

To my understanding, you are trying to repopulate the fields via URL then hide the prepopulated field such as the email, when it is filled, correct? 

It seems that it's not possible to capture the data on a hidden field, however, you may try to use the Skip page condition instead of hiding the field: -How-to-Skip-Pages-Using-Conditional-Logic

Additionally, you can combine conditions in one for a certain action, please refer to the screenshot below:

I appreciate the help.  But what is confusing to me, is that I already have another form (for another business) that is populating url parameters into the field value, hiding the field, and is being recorded into the submissions.  

It is possible to do.  I'm just not able to repeat it on another form.  See here:REMOVED

I'm going to clone the original form and see if I can get it setup that way.

ANSWER: 

I found the answer on my own.  Under "SETTINGS" there is an option which asks if you want to CLEAR HIDDEN FIELD VALUES.  I had selected On Submit.  But it should be "Don't Clear".  Then the hidden values will be sent with the POST DATA.
