Is a paid account required to use Square?

I am testing Jotforms for a client. They wish to collect registration payments for a virtual event using square.. I've created an account and a test form. The form is connected to square but there is no way to add a product or pricing field. Is this something reserved for paying accounts? Your documentation is very unclear.
