Save and Continue Later: Is the email field required?

In order to use the Save and Continue Later feature, does a email field need to be built in and filled out early on the form? Or will it ask for the persons email when they click the Save and Continue Later button?

You can use the Save and Continue Later feature even without an email field.

If the form filler is not logged in to their JotForm account, or a Guest, the system will offer the session's URL, and an option to input an email address if the respondent prefer to receive the session URL via email instead.

If the form filler is logged in on their JotForm account, the session will appear as draft on the account owner's dashboard.

Prior to that, the system will still offer the option to get the session's URL, and will pull the email address from the account's registered email.
