I just heard back from you that there is no way to decrypt my data after downloading it. So I turned decryption off since that makes it useless for me as now I will have to manually enter all the data we have collected so far.
But when I review the data in my browser, now it is encrypted and there is not an option to turn my key back on! I still have my key. What should I do? If I try to turn encryption back on, it offers to create a new key, so I was scared to chose that option in case it would make it impossible for me to go back and retrieve all the other data.
Help!!!

Hi @Pittelman,
When trying to re-enable encryption could you send a screenshot of the options you see, currently this is what I see:
A guide on how to upload screenshots is here. If I use my existing keys I can then upload the previous private key I used and see the data. Can I just confirm though, do you still have the same private key you used originally to encrypt the data?
Thank you!

Oh phew! Thank you, Ed! I just panicked when I got to the first screen and it asked for my password and assumed that meant a new key would be generated. This time I entered my password and made it to the screen above and chose "I will use existing key" and everything is decrypted again. I really appreciate your help—I was so scared I lost all the responses!
I really hope in the future there will be a way to decrypt the data for downloading so that we don't have to choose between extra security and importing data into other sources! Otherwise I have been very happy with my jotform experience.

Thanks for your feedback on this feature, I'm passing this to our back-end team, so in case the encryption feature changes in the future, you can be notified about it.
Thanks.
