How to display the products in the payment field in columns?

Can you format the Purchase order so that the items in each category can appear in say 2 or 3 columns instead of just one long column? If so how?

You may enable the the columns from the payment field settings wizard. Please see the screenshot below:

Sorry about that. It seems that the columns feature is only available with the new Upcoming theme. You may try changing the form theme to Upcoming from the Theme section of the Form Designer.
if you want to use the default theme on your form, the products can be displayed in columns by injecting some CSS code. Please see the guide below:
