    dear support, i followed https://www.jotform.com/answers/1556944-JotForm-as-Event-Ticket-Check-In

    My process (all completed successfully):

    - user fills up form https://form.jotform.com/202394486380460

    - form sent to eric@platinumpodium.com.my for approval (Approve/Deny)

    - entry is entered into report in grid listing https://www.jotform.com/grid/202394293283054

    - approved submissions will receive a unique QR code

my question/problem is on the day of the walk-in event, i want to SCAN the QR code and it should change the TICKET STATUS filed to TICKET USED. pls advise. tq

You may use a condition when your QR reader is filled you update your dropdown option to used.

sorry, i still don't get you. i manage to generate a unique QR code for each registrant, so when a registrant (Attendee A) walk up my event and show me the QR code, how can i scan it so it will update Attendee A's ticket status to TICKET USED? tq

Unfortunately, you would need a QR reader widget to scan your dynamic QR code. It is also not possible to use a condition if a QR code is scanned.

You would have to manually change the dropdown option when the QR code is scanned.
