Hello!
I'm using the MailChimp integration feature and I checked off the "Send Opt-In Email" box! Does this ensure that anyone filling out my form can decide whether or not they opt-into joining my mailing list? I'm having trouble figuring out what the chain of events looks like there. It would be great if it was possible to add a check-box to the form itself that allows people to opt-in or opt-out. Is that an option I'm missing?

Happy to help you today.
When you enable the "Send opt-in email" box then it sends an email to the form submitter to confirm if they would like to subscribe to your mail list.
If you'd like to add a checkbox in the form then you need to enable it in your Mailchimp integration. Please check the screenshot below and select the same options.
This will automatically add a checkbox in your form. For more details please check the related guide below.
