Hi there - I've read everything on your support site about HIPAA compliance and the one stumbling block that doesn't seem to have a fix is the file encryption issue. I know that submitted forms are stored on your servers NOT encrypted, even though you have safeguards to protect who has access to those files.
I could potentially still use JotForm by integrating with Box, which is HIPAA compliant. The problem is that I would need to autodelete my submitted forms from your server after they are uploaded to Box.
Is this something you can do now or is that something you could do in the near future? Or can you offer a plan where data is encrypted on your servers?
You could make a lot of money from medical practices if you could overcome these HIPAA compliance issues!

Auto delete submission is something we can do in the near future. You can read more about HIPAA compliance on this thread.

Thank you for your answer but I have already read the thread you attached. That doesn't help me with the encryption issue. This is a big issue!
When is "near future" for auto-delete? This year?

I will forward the request to our developers with regard to the Auto Delete submission feature. Cant say any time frame but we will surely let you know when an update is made.
On the other hand, base on HIPPA - data encryption is not mandatory as long as servers are already secured which our servers are.

Not to belabor the point, but although encryption is not mandatory, the fines and problems for a security breach of an unencrypted server are huge. We have to report the breach to the government and to the media. We have to pay hefty fines. If the data is encrypted and there is a breach, there is no fine and we don't even have to report it. It's just a risk I'm not sure we want to take.

My colleague had already submittedd a feature request ticket for the "autodelete" feature you mention.

I can see that there is an already opened ticket about this feature, but we don't have news about it status.
