    My account was suspended for phishing. Can I resolve this?

    Asked by fuelblue on August 09, 2013 at 01:27 PM

    I just logged in and saw a message that my account for FUELBLUE has been suspended for suspicion of phishing? To my knowledge, none of my forms do anything in terms of asking users for usernames,passwords, or credit card info. Most are simply email list sign up forms. A couple collect patient information for a dentist.

    However, if there was anything specific about a particular form or forms that caused suspicion, I'd be happy to change it or resolve it.

    Can you please help me resolve this situation? I would really appreciate it. I assure you there was no intent to break the terms of service or do anything shady.

    I appreciate it.

    Hi Bobby,

    Apologize! It's fixed now! You have been auto suspended probably because of a term "Facebook" used in one of your forms. Facebook Login Forms are one of the most created forms in our system by Phishers so we increased the Phishing Level of this term.

    I have check your forms and found no Phishing which is against our Terms of Use so I have reactivated your account. Please kindly check again.

    Great, thank you. I had added a form to a Facebook Page using the Facebook code provided by Jotform. Sounds like you're saying that something was added to the form from within Facebook when I added it to my Page? Any suggestions how I can avoid that in the future?

    I added specific HTML code to create a Tab on my Page. The Jotform code was within that complete page. Was there any specific HTML added that I could find and remove for future Pages?

    In any event, thanks for your quick help, I appreciate it. Have a great day.

    As my colleague said the reason could be because you have added the term "FACEBOOK" to the title of this form http://www.jotform.us/form/32198397664166 and our Phishing Detector system  has been increased so that if the term FACEBOOK, PASSWORD etc... is found in a form, it will tagged it as Phisher and will be autosuspended. So, to avoid the suspention of your account you should avoid the usage of that term in your forms.

    If you need further assistance, pleas let us know.

    @Jaz Zohar

    Creating a phishing form is a violation of our terms of use and doing this can cause your account being suspended and/or terminated.

    You must refrain yourself in creating such forms using our system.
