I am a web designer and am currently re-building a site for a client. He operates a hot air balloon ride business so it is very important for him to have the ability to collect credit card information from customers to hold reservations. He does not want to collect payment as he has a method for doing that separately, he simply wants to continue to collect credit card information.
Originally when we created his site (that I am now updating) we were able to create a form that would allow us to do so with an SSL certificate through GoDaddy. However, it is no longer available to create these forms like this (with good reason).
We are looking for a method to collect this information through a form that also provides SSL security so that we can discontinue use of the current form and SSL with GoDaddy.
Is this possible with JotForms?
Thank you in advance!

It's possible to collect the details but unfortunately, we do not advice manually collecting credit card details using our form. We have our Automatic Phishing Filter that would check your forms and if it finds your form to have that fields, it auto suspends your account.
We have our Purchase Order tool. You can use this tool to allow orders without the process to pay after submitting the form. You can then advice your client to use an alternative way to let his/her customer pay the order - a possible way is to Email the customer.

Our terms prohibit collecting credit card info on plain text fields.
It is only possible to collect credit card information without charging it. However a payment integration with any of our available payment processors is needed. Otherwise, our anti-phishing tool will automatically suspend or disable the account.
