I have a radio button field with two choices. I would like a lot of fields hidden if no choice has been made. If a choice has been made, I would like to show one half the fields for one choice and the other half for the other choice.
I used a condition for is empty to hide all the fields and is checked for each alternative to show the fields appropriate for that selection. What happens, though, is that the fields aren't hidden if no box is checked. The conditions operate as if one of the selections has been made.
Is there any way to make this work the way I want?

Are you referring to the Giving Form in your account? If that is the correct form please take a look at this clone that I made to see if that is what you are trying to achieve? If yes please set up a new condition similar to the screen capture below. If I have the incorrect form please send us the correct url so that we can assist you better.

I can't send you the URL, because the form hasn't been published, because I can't get the conditions to do what I want.
I used the condition wizard to create a condition that says "If 'I will donate by" field 'Is Empty' Then 'Hide' [everything] field"
This is followed by a condition that says "If 'I will donate by" field 'Is Equal to' 'Check' Then 'Hide' [credit card stuff] field"
This is followed by a condition that says "If 'I will donate by" field 'Is Equal to' 'Credit Card' Then 'Hide' [check stuff] field"
What I get is that the [credit card stuff] or the [check stuff] shows even when no radio button has been selected.
Can I change this behavior?

When I put the Is Empty condition first, then the action is correct when the field is empty. As soon as one of the buttons is selected, all the following fields show, regardless of which button is selected.
When I disable the Is Empty condition, the action of the buttons is correct when one is selected, but whichever condition comes last is the default and shows when no selection is made.
When I put the Is Empty condition last, it does not work at all and everything shows.

Here's an example form that would describe what you are looking for: http://www.jotform.co/form/32253945918866.
The Conditional Logic are:
For YES =
For NO =
In short, use "Show" instead of the Hide Conditional Logic. Because once a field is set to "show" once a certain option is selected, the default behaviour of that field is always "hidden". It shows once the Logic is matched.
If this sounds too confusing, please let us know. We also suggest creating or finish your form and let us know the form URL so we can check and do this for you. We always here to help :)
