I am having problem receiving submission data and processing payment through paypal.

    hi 

    I created a bookign form for our Wild Cooking event: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/32213102008938?

     

    My issues which i am seeking help with are:

    1. i recieved a payment notification from paypal but no jotform submission info even tho all fields are required. and jotform tells me there is no submissions recieved

    2. i tested the form myself and when i got to paypal to pay, i recieved the following message: 

    Return to merchant and try a different payment method
     

    We are not able to process your payment using your PayPal account at this time. Please return to the merchant's website and try using a different payment method (if available).

    is the above message to do my company or my own personal paypal account?

    can anyone tell me why?

    Hello,

    -I cloned your form and I am able to receive the submission and  unable to replicate the issue. 

    Kindly clone the clone and re-embed the clone to your Website/Page and kindly try an actual submission again.

    -Have you tried to contact Paypal about this? Because I can see that there is no problem with your form but the process won't go through using paypal.

     

    Kindly let us know if problem persists after cloning the form so that we could further investigate.

    the form is not embedded but sent as a direct link.

    Spoken with Paypal and they said not their problem...

    not sure what happened to make it right but the important thing is that it work

    me again :O)

    just noticed that i never seen the thank you screen when i tested the form and the paypal payment which has got all the joining instructions.

     

    so i completed the form, then paid on paypal but never showed the thank you screen.

    hope this makes sense.

    Hi Resi, To my knowledge once you redirect from your form to the PayPal Gateway for your Transaction it should then return you to the Thank You Page. You may want to try enabling an Automated Return as mentioned here in this thread: http://www.jotform.com/answers/73346-Tracking-After-Payment. It will allow you to return to the Original Page.

    hi, I did that but it asks for a return url and i am not sure i can have different return url for each individual form.

     

    the wild cooking thank you message includes the joinging instructions to that event

    the wild in the woods club to that event etc etc.

     

    Does that make sense?

    Hi Resi,

    On this thread, you will see the difference and explanation why the Paypal Auto-Return ON will no longer redirect to your form Thank you page.

    So, my suggestion is to leave out the Auto Return preferences in your paypal account settings so that the susccessfully completed payment transaction in your form will redirect again to JotForm Thank you page.

    Try this and test again your form. It should redirect properly to the Thank You page after the paypal payment screen is completed.
