Email Validation problem

    I was wondering if you guys can fix this situation.

     

    If a person is signing my form and enters a wrong email address. How come it still submits it? Shouldn't it show a warning or error. Email is incorrect.

     

    For ex if you input an email that is not valid like:

     

    12312213@213123.com <-----This should be wrong. Is there an option in jotform which not only check email format but also email Validity if the email is actually true or false?

     

    How come the system still allows the form to be submitted.

    I see what you mean. To my knowledge we don't currently use anything on the form itself to search and check that. The only thing we have that validates is is to check to make sure the email matches the one that is entered as a confirmation. I think something like this would have to be implemented with an API Use to correct it and that would have to be something that we add to our Feature Request List as an Improvement though we won't be able to provide any estimated timeframe for something like this.

    Furthermore, I think you were possibly looking for a feature such as an Email-Checker that searches and validates Actual coherent and exhisting email addresses maybe such as what this service does:
