    Hi, could you check out if this form  fits with your needs? I made the example based on your own Google Spreadsheet example and taking the example made by @EltonCris at this thread

    https://shots.jotform.com/guilledutra/daily_cash.html

    If it good for you, I'll come out with an explanation about installing it at your page.

    Hope it helps

    Thanks

    Hi guilledutra , its quite close to what I need.

    A few adjustments:

    1.There should be another field "OPENING" before "REFUND"

    2.The"CLOSING" field is the Sum of values from "REFUND" TO "tRF TO BANK/CREDIT CARD"

    3. "BALANCE" values equals "CLOSING" Minus "SALES".

    4. Is it possible to add "REMARKS" field on the right of the values of "REFUND", "PAYOUT",  "BALANCE FLOAT" AND "REFUND" TO "tRF TO BANK/CREDIT CARD"

    5. I need the form results exported to a google docs spreadsheet

    Thanks

    Hi,

    In my assessment, this is very much possible using the form's source code and javascript as already started by our colleauge  guilledutra .

    But I do suggest that you finalize your form first http://www.jotform.com/32248726389869 with the adjustments you mentioned

    1.There should be another field "OPENING" before "REFUND" and any other code.

    This way, the form will start in accordance to your design and we will only need to supplant the custom calculator code.

    Update us.

    Thanks.

    @positivecf

    We are sorry for getting back to you this late. I am about to start working on the function you want to achieve but I have some confusions.

    I checked your form and I couldn't exactly point which fields you're referring in your previous instruction. Can you please give us an updated details on which fields should be calculated and where should its appropriate total values be stored?

    Like for example,

    field $100 + field $50 = Total in drawer (A)

    This would help us understand the function better.

    Thank you so much!

    field Total in Drawer  = field {Refund+Paid out+Balance Float+Bank Transfer / Paypal+$100+$50+$10+$5+$1+$0.50+$0.20+$0.10+$0.05}

    field Balance in drawer = field Total in Drawer - field Total Sales

    field Aoumt to remove = field Total Sales - field Refund - field Paid out - field Balance Float - field Bank Transfer / Paypal

    how do I add a remarks field on the right side of each value, eg.

    "Refund : 20 : Remarks"

    "Paid out : $19.50 : Remarks"

    Thanks.

    Yes. A text field, which co-relates to the value.

    @positivecf

    Is it correct that total sales value will be inputted manually by the user? There seems to be no total calculation for it according to your formula.

    Also, do I have to multiply the value on the dollar fields?

    Example in $100 field, if the user inputs 2, should I multiply 2 with 100?

    e.g. (2 x 100)

    Here's what I got so far. Let me know what you think: https://shots.jotform.com/elton/calcu_form_256567.html

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the update.

    field Total Sales will be manually inputted by user.

    I do not need to multiply the values. So example when I have 3 pieces of $100 bills, I will input 300 in the field $100

    I updated the sample, kindly check now: https://shots.jotform.com/elton/calcu_form_256567.html

    Here's the calculation script: http://pastiebin.com/521f0087ada18

    To add it to your form,

    1. Get your form source code: How to get your Form Source Code

    2. Put the calculation script at the last part of the form source code.

    3. Save your form as html file or you can embed the code right away.

    Let us know if you need anything else. Thanks!
