Is there a way that I can complete a form, and the submission email has a signature request on it that is then completed by a 3rd party?

To clarify, do you want to fill out the form first and then send it to the user for signature?

If so, please check the URL Parameters and see if that could work for your needs: https://www.jotform.com/help/71-Prepopulating-Fields-to-Your-JotForm-via-URL-Parameters

Let us know if you are referring to something else.

Hi! Yes this is possible. You'll need to implement a workflow for this. Workflow is a technique in which a single Form is passed to various parties (one-by-one) so that every party could fill their specific details.

We have a basic article that talks about how a workflow can be implemented: https://www.jotform.com/help/432-A-General-Approach-on-Building-an-Approval-Process-Workflow

Please go through this article to understand the technique for implementing a workflow.

The workflow that you'll need will work something like below:

    1. You'll need your Staff to fill out the Form first and provide the email address of the party (within in the Form itself) who needs to sign it.

    2. When submitted, an autoresponder email should be sent to the applicable party which can then review the Form information, provide their signature and then submit the Form again.

    3. Once this is done, you'll have the submission along with your clients signatures.

I hope this information helps. For further queries, feel free to write back to us.

    Thank you!
