    Upgrading Question

    Hey JotForm,

    I recently renewed my Premium account (at the end of July) - I paid $139 for 2 years.  I would now like to upgrade to an Economy ($350 for 2 years).  Is there any way to apply the money that I just paid toward the Econmy upgrade?

    I just tried to upgrade from within my JotForm account - I was sent to Plimus, and their system was going to charge me the full $350 for 2 years of Economy.  Could I simply pay the $211 difference for an Economy account that will expire on the same date as my current Premium account?

    Does this makes sense?

    Your assumption is correct. If you purchased a Premium yearly subscription last month, the system will apply a pro-rated charge.

    So it will carry over around $129.05  ($139 - $9.95 )

    This is because the system would charge you around $9.95 for the last month period being on Premium and carrying over the rest for the Economy subscription.

    And it would charge you only the difference (around $220 or so)

    This is an automated process, and you can do it on your own (by going to the Pricing page and clicking on switch plan at the Economy option) or we can do it in our side

    Good!  That's the way I thought it should work.

    Can you go ahead and convert me from Premium to Economy on your side?  When I try to do it inside my account, I get an error message, saying that the system was unable switch the subscription and that I should use the BlueSnap (Plimus) site ... and the BlueSnap site is not user friendly, and seems to want to charge me the full price for Economy.

    Do you need a confirmation or information from me to do this?

    Ok, your account it's been now switched to Economy

    The system took only around $4.50 for the period the account remained in Premium, so it will only charge an additional amount of $214.50
