Pre-Populated Carry Over
- amansadAsked on August 18, 2013 at 06:06 PM
Good Day,
I am workin on trying to carry over data from Form 1 to Form 2. On the home page I am using the following embed script:
So far no data has ever carried over...
http://form.jotform.co/jsform/32295284904863?fullName:first={fullName34:first]}&fullName:last={fullName34:last]}&email3:email={email35:email]}
I got the embed script from form 1 and have been piecing it together with the help of the forums..
Any ideas on how to get it to work?
Spence

Hi Spence,
Please review this guide also Prepopulating-fields-to-your-JotForm-via-URL-parameters
Currently, the script you have setup will not work because you are using the script embed
To be able to do this, I suggest you try this method.
Check out this form http://jotformpro.com/form/31427061944957 and test submit it.
On this form's Thank You page, I use the Custom URL and have injected this URL
http://www.jotformpro.com/form/31426991632962?yourName={yourName}&yourEmail={yourEmail}
As you can see, if you test submit the form, the 2nd form is opened with pre-populated value already.
Please try this. Inform us if you need further assistance doing it.
Thanks.
